Is there a heat which creates these shingles curl? It is uncanny since we have an further upon my residence which is thirty years aged as well as had shingles put upon it as well as they have been thirty years aged as well as they have not curled! But a shingles upon my strange office building have. What gives?

They were probably Owens corning fiberglass shingles.I have seen the fail from lack of vents in as little as ten years.Worst shingle ever made.

Excess heat in the attic. make sure you have attic vents (whirlybirds or a powered vent) installed.

They say poor attic venting causing heat build up can make them curl. I have noticed that some will curl up within 15 years and other homes with the same venting last 30 years. I think there are different batches made with different quality levels, so it’s a crap shoot as to when they curl or not. Some curl up and some curl under, and other never curl. All you can do is replace them.
