Up to what month can I be around shingles patients?
I’m 5 months prego as well as work w/ patients all day. Some patients have shingles as well as i have to leave a room compartment all gets hosed down w/ sanitizer. Do we have to keep avoiding them during my complete pregnancy?

You should really talk to your doctor and find out his recommendations. Have you had the chicken pox though? (As I’m sure you know,) shingles are a form of the chicken pox. If you’ve had the chicken pox, you have nothing to worry about. You can’t get shingles by being in contact with someone that has it. You CAN however, get the chicken pox from it.
To sum it up; if you’ve had the chicken pox, don’t worry. Baby can’t catch what you can’t catch.
I would try my hardest to avoid them, I am 29 weeks pregnant and I have become a complete germophobe. It’s to dangerous maybe you should consider at new occupation I resigned from working in a school because of the germs and violence in the school I was at.
