Pharmacists: Apply topical steroids to outside of nose, no more allergies?
Firstly, nasal steroids do not work for me, we have a small bit of psychosis compared with it. The plasma levels of flonase etc be damned, they pass a BBB somehow.
So how in effect would this be?

It would thin the skin and possibly cause acne breakouts on the surface of the nose without doing anything for your hayfever. You may have to make do with antihistamines, cromolyn and/or leukotriene inhibitors.
